Step 1- Consultation

 -In Person Consultation-  This is the ideal way for you to share your concerns and for us to evaluate your needs.  We will provide a full in person analysis and help you achieve your goals.

 -Virtual Consultation-  For those individuals where travel for a consultation is difficult, we offer a virtual consultation.  We will communicate by email as well as video conferencing.  We will view photos of you to fully assess your concerns and create a plan ideal for your needs.

Through this process, our Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Samuel Shatkin Jr., or one of our dentists, lead by Dr. Todd Shatkin, will determine if you are a good candidate for a procedure.  Our patient care coordinator will contact you to discuss fees and accommodations.

Step 2- Scheduling

After you determine that you wish to schedule, our coordinator will check to see what date and time is best for you.  We typically arrange an appointment the day before procedure to discuss any issues or concerns you may have.  On that visit, a physical exam may be done if needed and any labs will be reviewed.  Some patients choose to have their primary care doctors perform this in their home town.  The surgery will be performed the following day at the Aesthetic Associates Centre award winning accredited ambulatory surgery center.

Step 3- Surgery/Dental Procedure

Your procedure will be performed by Doctor Samuel Shatkin Jr. FACS or Dr. Todd Shatkin or his associates.  The procedure will be performed at the Aesthetic Associates Centre Surgery Centre, a fully accredited one-of-a-kind surgery facility since 1989. We pride ourselves in our care and concern for safety.  We utilize a Board Certified Anesthesiologist, Dr. Rose Berkun, to provide anesthesia and sedation throughout the procedure.

Step 4- Recovery and Fly Out  

Surgical and Dental patients will stay in town for the appropriate period, usually ranges between 1-14 days depending on the procedure.  Most of our Fly-In patients stay at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Williamsville, NY (0.5 miles from our surgery center) which is also the location of our Tres Aurae Spa which provides spa and salon services for our patients as well as their family and friends who are traveling with them.  The hotel also has restaurant and room service as well.

When you are ready to leave, transportation to the airport or other means of travel will be provided for you.  We also can coordinate with your hometown doctors or health care providers for further follow up as needed.
